The Beaver Creek Ranch House and Golf Club have long been a community asset.  Through years of little or no maintenance, the closed restaurant building and golf course were in poor operating condition, spiraling on a downward economic trend.  To reverse this trend a CORE ACTION TEAM of residents formed a community coalition focused on restoring the historic Beaver Creek Ranch House Restaurant and Golf course as RESTORED -  PROFESSIONALLY OPERATED - COMMUNITY OWNED & CONTROLLED ASSETS reminiscent of days gone by.
THE MISSION:
A COMMUNITY OWNED ECONOMIC ENGINE for BEAVER CREEK COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT providing: JOBS - SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY - PROTECTED COMMUNITY OPEN SPACE

  • REPORT FROM BETTY HART ON MEDIATION – BCCDC BOARD NOT AGREEABLE...July 17, 2013... Mediation process and price information was obtained by RHC Member Betty Hart from  a Tucson attorney and mediator specializing in conflict resolution.  The price quoted was between $2,000 and $3,000 dependent on time spent during mediation.  Hart was given the contact information of 6 RHC representatives and the 6 current BCCDC Board members to ascertain their willingness to enter into a mediation agreement and share costs.  Hart arranged for BCCDC Board Member Sharon Brooks to poll the Board Members on their willingness to mediate.  Brooks reported back that the Board did not wish to pursue this opportunity.
